I grew up in Korea and moved to the US when I was in middle school.
I moved across the country for my jobs. My first job was with Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas.
It was followed by my move to the Bay area for my second job at Xilinx, which is now part of AMD.
Then, during the COVID pandemic, I moved to the Seattle area for Microsoft. I never got to go into the office due to the lockdown.
When the pandemic was about to end, I moved to Meta in early 2022 and started going into their Bellevue office.
In 2025 January, I was given the opportunity to transfer to Meta’s New York office, and now I live in New York. Currently I work in the ranking domain as a software engineer with ML specialization.
